Introducing Dr. Michelle Caplan, DC, ART

Dr. Michelle Caplan graduated suma cum laude from Life Chiropractic College West in Hayward, California. Dr. Caplan has been ART^® certified now for 3 years and has been mentored for the past 2 years by some of the industry’s leading practitioners. This experience has given her a wealth of knowledge and the benefit of many years combined practice experience from which to choose her care plan. Her keen diagnostic skills and integrative capacity have formulated the best of what can be offered today in strategies for reaching personal goals in physical performance and maintaining these over the years.

She is also certified in Kinesiotaping^® which is a therapeutic rehabilitative taping technique. The proprietary method of taping uses a uniquely designed and patented tape for treatment of muscular disorders and is highly effective in the reduction of inflammation and bruising .

Dr. Caplan is a member of the Bay Area Sports Chiropractors (BASC), a collaborative network of fully credentialed ART^® practitioners. As a BASC member, she provides treatment to participating athletes at events such as The Cinderella Classic, Wildflower and Vineman triathlons.

Dr. Caplan works with athletes of all levels, from the weekend warrior to the professional, and has experience with triathletes, runners, cyclists, volleyball and softball players.
